This product went through months of rigorous testing to create a Shea Butter Lotion Alternative that included Zinc Oxide and skin loving Clays for those who wanted that little extra in their Body Butter. This lotion is super calming to the skin, and has all baby-safe ingredients! A baby-safe* level of essential oils means just a hint, so you won’t smell them in this lotion, but it has the nutty scent of Natural Shea Butter instead. Check out the ingredient list! What’s missing? Water and chemical preservatives! Nobody’s skin wants those, much less sensitive skin! We don’t, and won’t use water in any of our leave on body products. And that means we don’t have to use any nasty chemicals to preserve them! What does this mean for you? Nothing nasty fighting the good stuff, doing damage to your skin while the good stuff works. It also means our body products are extremely concentrated (most lotions are over 75% water!) and a little goes a long way! We do recommend consulting your child’s health care provider before using on tender skin! *While all ingredients are considered “baby safe” by most, we do not recommend use on children under the age of 6 without consulting your child’s health care professional.

Susie’s Select Lotion Alternative

This is a mix between Body Butter and our Buttery Soft Lotion Alternatives. It was designed first for my daughter, and her irritable skin. We were care to use only ingredients deemed “baby safe,” in order to make this a gentle lotion! *Now, having said that, this doesn’t mean you should use it on your baby! For any use on children please consult their health care practitioner! But the idea was to make it as gentle as possible!

Instructions for Use: Always test new products on small area of skin, and wait 24-48 hours before using on larger area. If any reaction occurs discontinue use immediately.

Scoop small amount of product out of container with clean finger or small scoop. Spread on affected areas. Do NOT use on open skin! Use more as needed, but keep in mind this is a concentrated product and more isn’t always better.

Please note: As this product contains essential oils please seek advice of your child’s health care professional before using on small children, or diaper areas!  Disclaimer: This product not to be used on children under the age of six without consulting health care professional.

A complete Head to Toe Lotion Alternative is finally here! This lotion alternative is chock full of hair and face loving oils and butters, and is truly silky smooth and luxurious. Truly head to toe? Yes!  First, wash head to toe, using one our Head to Toe Bars, or separate soap and shampoo bars if you prefer.  After your shower use this lotion alternative lightly all over. We do not recommend using on bottoms of feet for safety reasons. (If you do use on feet, it is imperative that you put socks on afterwards, or you may slip!). Instructions are below. We don't use water in our body products as that would make it necessary to use chemical preservatives. But that also has the advantage of super concentrated products that actually work.
