Description

Dewdrops Soap
Head to Toe Rosehip soap! Dewdrops has long been a customer favorite but when we sold out we set out to make it even better, and to create a Hair and Face version as well!  Dewdrops Soap has always had great ingredients in it like Peach Kernel Oil🍑, and extra Shea Butter❤️. So how to improve? We decided to start with the liquid used to saponify the oils.  # Head To Toe Rosehip Soap
Rosehips
Rosehips have a reputation for being awesome for the hair and face! So, using a Rosehip Tea and Pulp🌹for this bar was a Natural😉! ( Rice Water is used for the Deluxe Facial version of the soap). Then we added Organic Jojoba, Abyssinian Seed, Tamanu and Rosehip🌹Oils, as they are all GREAT for the hair, face and skin! We were careful to keep the rich, creamy lather this soap was already known for, but we did add a little more of our Dewdrops Essential Oil blend also! The rich lather combined with the scent of frankincense and myrrh makes me look forward to washing my hair and face! The Dewdrops Head to Toe works great for all hair types, but followed up with our Curly Hair Pomade, is a great, simple, all Natural system for curly hair! For straight hair, we recommend following it up with our Silky Head to Toe Lotion Alternative.   See below for instructions for use.👇

Directions for use:

Use this soap for everything from your hair 🙍‍♀️to your face and body!  For hair we recommend washing your scalp and hair with a baking soda rinse* before switching to a shampoo bar to remove some of the shampoo build up on your hair and scalp. Rinse.  Then rub soap bar directly on hair, working it into the the scalp, not just the hair, then work to a lather and rinse. Repeat. Now wash your face and the rest of your body, avoiding mucous membranes.  Rinse your hair with a AC vinegar rinse**, then squeeze out extra water and style as usual. You can follow up with a conditioner of your choice, or use one of our leave in hair finishers.

Drying hair: We highly recommend a rather strange technique for drying your hair.  Buy a T-shirt a size smaller than you normally wear. Make sure it’s 100% Cotton, no substitutes. After you wash your hair and squeeze out extra water. Pull the T-shirt over your head like you are putting it on. Then pull it up and wrap your hair to dry. I will usually put the Curly Hair Pomade on my hair before this step, which is why I recommend a shirt dedicated to hair.🤣 (You’ll get small amounts of the oil on it.)

*Just Baking Soda and water, or what I do is get hair soaking wet and simply place Baking Soda on top of head and work through. Be careful to use this in such a way that it can NOT get in your eyes! Do Not get in eyes!

**10-25% vinegar to 75-90% water. If you can’t stand the smell of Vinegar, use it, then rinse with cold water to remove smell. While we use AC Vinegar, and recommend it, some people have used White Vinegar successfully. Experiment, and make it your own!

This is probably my favorite soap. Not only does it lather nicely, it smells good and does not dry out my skin. I’ve also found that is a really nice shaving cream alternative.
