Campfire/ Bonfire natural soap
It’s Fall right now when this Campfire/ Bonfire natural soap is being introduced, but anytime of the year is great for our Bonfire ManSoap! With flaming colors and the scent of a bonfire you are sure to warm up to this scent and soap! We have it in our ManSoap line simply because there is nothing girly about it. However, having said that I, as a woman who delights in my femininity, LOVE this soap! It’s among my very favorites. If you love sitting around a campfire you will love this soap. Like always, we used only Essential Oils to scent this soap, but it really smells like a delightful campfire! We used Natural Cocoa Butter for the skin loving qualities, and a very slight Chocolate scent that comes through if you have a sensitive nose. So, just imagine the toasted Marshmallows, Grahams and Chocolate…Yum!
Good for your skin!
The quality of the soap itself always comes first when creating a new recipe. We don’t master batch our soaps like many soaps makers do. Each recipe is individually hand crafted for that soap, and this soap was no exception. The basic three of Olive, Coconut and Palm was used for a great lather, then we added Avocado, Cocoa Butter and Abyssinian for great moisture. Strong, Organic Lemongrass Tea was used as the saponification* liquid for its known skin benefits.
The colors you see here are a first for us. Are they natural? Yes, they are considered natural, but keep reading for the full explanation. While Iron Oxides are a natural process (Literally the oxidation of iron, or iron exposed to oxygen.), we actually use a brand that is created in a safe environment in order to make sure the toxins that would be found in actual natural iron oxides are not present. So, no, these are not mined as that is not really possible to do with iron oxides and keep them pure and safe. But it is a natural process used to create them. An example would be you planting tomatoes from seed then nurturing them vs finding them growing wild in nature.
Please do understand the difference in this process and “derived from natural.” The term “derived from natural” is basically a code term for chemical additive. Most synthetic chemicals are technically derived from nature. We use nothing “derived from nature” here at Spero Soaps.
*Saponification is simply the process which turns oils into soap.
