Spero's Blends

Here at Spero Soaps, only the finest quality oils, essential oils, and 100% natural ingredients go into our products! We use clays, botanicals and the like, but will not use anything that isn't natural.* We do not use "nature identical" products, but only what God actually provides through nature. You will find an extensive list of our carrier/base oils and essential oils below. For our scented products we use therapeutic grade essential oils, (and 100% Natural Flavor Oils in a few of our Lip Balms, which are noted on that page). The price of these oils is much higher than fragrance oils! However, we are a company committed to bringing you the best in homemade natural products, and have made the commitment that only 100% natural ingredients* will go into our products!  
We make no claims of the effects of any of the oils in our soaps! You have to use your own experience to see if a particular product works for you. None of our products are intended to be used for medical purposes! If you are not familiar with essential oils, please consult your medical practitioner before using any Essential Oil product. If you have any medical condition, or if you are pregnant, please consult your medical care practitioner before using any products containing essential oils!
*We do use Iron Oxides in a few of our soaps. The Iron Oxides we use are technically created in a lab, oxidizing iron. This is a similar idea to processing plant or other material. It is actually considered natural by most, but we make great effort to be completely transparent in our practices. Feel free to research on your own, or email or text us with any questions you may have concerning our products! (The "natural" version of Iron Oxides are actually dangerously tainted with heavy metals.)

Sodium Hydroxide

We use sodium hydroxide (A.K.A. lye) in our soap! This is the only non-natural product that we use. So, why do we use it? Soap cannot be made without lye, however, there is no lye left in the finished product because it is all turned into soap through a natural process called saponification.
